Glenduan Reserve, located 18 km from Nelson, is a beautiful and peaceful place to unwind. It's an ideal spot for taking your dog for a walk and observing seals in their natural habitat. There is a designated walking area along the beach, as well as two playgrounds, a skateboard area, toilets, and a play area for children that includes a flying fox. Additionally, there is ample parking available. Glenduan is known for its rocky beach, and it provides access to Cable Bay either via the beach or the Cable Bay Walkway, an 8km trail that traverses the hill. The area is also a Marine Reserve, meaning that fishing, netting, taking, or harming marine life is strictly prohibited. Furthermore, it is important to refrain from removing any natural materials from the reserve.
