The beach was a delightful experience with plenty of excitement for novice and seasoned surfers alike. During my visit, I found the waves to be perfect for both beginner and intermediate surfers. Although the journey from San Juan Del Sur was a bit rough, it was all worth it in the end. The beachfront was lined with excellent bars and restaurants, making it an ideal spot for a day trip or a weekend getaway.

Revised in March 2022: The cost of surf lessons has increased significantly since my last visit, but I still suggest visiting this beach. The water was a bit chilly, though. I spent 200 cordobas on a pair of comfortable chairs and an umbrella, which provided a great spot to sit all day. Two years before: This is the ultimate beach for surfing! I rented a board for $10 and received a $20 surf lesson. By the end of the lesson, I was able to pop up with ease, thanks to the helpful instructors. We drove there in a sedan and had no issues.

Looking for a gnarly surf spot? Look no further than this beach, my dude! The hostel here is the perfect spot to catch some sick waves and shred it up. And if you're an early riser, the sunrise sessions are totally worth it. Plus, the sunsets here are absolutely stunning. And let's not forget about the furry friends - there are plenty of friendly dogs around to hang ten with. So grab your board and come catch some waves at the raddest surf beach around!
