This beach was one of the best we've been to, although the GPS directions made it a bit of a challenge to find. Initially, parking was hectic, but we eventually found a spot on the side of the road. However, a taxi driver warned us that we might get a ticket or be towed due to the yellow lines painted on the curb. We decided not to risk it and instead parked at the nearby CVS parking lot for only $7.50 for three hours. The walk to the beach wasn't far, and we stopped at CVS to grab some snacks. Despite the long lines, the employees were incredibly nice. As visitors to Puerto Rico, we weren't prepared with a cooler or umbrella, but luckily we found out that we could rent chairs for $5. Unfortunately, they were out of umbrellas, but that didn't detract from the beautiful view of the water, which had a lovely green tint. The sand was soft and white, and the water temperature was perfect for swimming. We enjoyed our time there immensely! Later on, we tried some fried finger foods from a stand, including a delicious meat empanada. We had two plates and a bottle of water, which only cost $11, so it was quite affordable. Overall, we spent $18.50 for our trip to the beach. We highly recommend visiting this beach!

As someone who's visited a fair share of beaches, I have to say that this one is truly exceptional. The sand is stunningly colored and remarkably clean, with no litter in sight. The water is crystal clear and boasts a beautiful blend of turquoise and deep blue hues, and it's just the right temperature for a swim in July. Plus, the view of San Juan's buildings in the background adds to the overall beauty of the scene. I'd give this beach a perfect score of 10 out of 10!

Welcome to the Copacabana of Puerto Rico, also known as Isla Verde. This tropical paradise boasts a stunning beach that is the envy of the entire metropolitan area. The yellow sands are framed by towering palm trees, high-end hotels, restaurants, and shops. You can even take a relaxing stroll on the sun-kissed public beach, complete with top-notch toilet and shower facilities. We were lucky enough to visit during sunset, which made for a romantic walk on the fine sand with our significant other. Although we didn't take a dip in the water, we could feel the refreshing ocean breeze and hear the soothing sound of waves crashing. The beach is divided into three main areas: Pine Grove, where locals go surfing; Alambique, a more laid-back strip of sand; and Balneario de Carolina, a relaxed location with lifeguards and ample parking spaces. What's more, Isla Verde is conveniently located near the main San Juan airport and is a hop, skip, and a jump away from the El Yunque rainforest. And for all you pet lovers out there, the beach is pet-friendly, so we saw plenty of four-legged friends frolicking in the water. So, pack your bags and get ready to experience the beauty of Isla Verde for yourself!

Although the water appeared a bit murky and dull without the sun, overall, we had a pleasant time at the beach. We spent $10 on a parasol and $4 for each sunbathing chair.

The ocean is pristine and peaceful, offering a serene atmosphere to visitors. Every day spent at the beach is a stunning experience. Additionally, there are numerous vendors and rental options for chairs and umbrellas. This is, without a doubt, my preferred beach in the metropolitan region.
