2 Very poor

Don't even think about catching the sunrise at this beach, trust me. The area is notorious for theft and even the cops warned us against it. As we waited for the cops to arrive, a suspicious car crept up behind us, shutting off their engine and lights. Needless to say, we high-tailed it out of there and breathed a sigh of relief when we made it out unscathed. It's a shame because the beach itself was stunning, but unfortunately, the danger of the area warrants a one-star rating. Stay safe and steer clear.

This lovely beach situated in the Dorado area is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The best part? It's usually not crowded, so you can have a peaceful day by the shore. The sand is soft and the ocean floor is smooth, making it ideal for bodyboarding and surfing when the weather permits. However, it's important to be mindful of the currents, rip tides, and undertoe currents. If you're not accustomed to open ocean water currents, it's essential to ensure that you and your loved ones are safe while still having a great time. After heavy rains and inclement weather, the beach may have some debris, such as driftwood and other unwanted materials, that have been washed out to sea by rivers and streams. This beach is a frequent nesting site for sea turtles, and if you're lucky, you may get to see young hatchlings on their journey from the sand to the sea. It's critical to respect their habitat and ensure that they are not disturbed.
