Status as of 07/20/2021: Only their own people are allowed in. Additionally, the beach workers provide very contradictory information. Initially, a woman informed us that we could go to the administrative building of the Progress sanatorium, where they would issue a pass upon presentation of a passport and a certificate of vaccination against Covid. We, naive Siberian girls, believed her and went to the administration. Unsurprisingly, they didn’t even let us in, stating that the beach was only open to those undergoing treatment at the sanatorium. Then the “lifeguard” on the beach mentioned that they might let you in if you had local registration. Overall, in my opinion, it’s rudeness. Although, what else can you expect from the Ministry of Internal Affairs...

For the past 20 years, everything has been great. However, they mentioned that they might close the beach and restrict access to only those from the sanatorium. If that happens, we might have to reconsider and lower our rating.

The place is clean and well-maintained, featuring lifeguards, showers, sun loungers, and shaded areas. The shore and sea entrance consist of pebbles rather than large boulders.
