We visited Sochi in the autumn and were pleasantly surprised to find a path to the sea just behind the stop on Kurortny Prospekt. Unfortunately, the area was littered with garbage, which was quite disheartening. The asphalt path, likely from Soviet times, was well-maintained and led us to the beach. We were there in the winter, so there weren't many people, but we can only imagine how crowded it must be in the summer. There was a cafe and a toilet on the beach, but the beach itself wasn't very well-maintained. There was a broken staircase, making it dangerous to go down. For a change of scenery, we could explore the nearby closed areas.

We had a great time at Pebble Beach in July. The ocean was filled with small jellyfish and grass, but the water was clearer and warmer beyond the pier. On the beach, there were sun loungers with umbrellas, swings, and gazebos for rent, as well as catamarans, air mattresses, and boards. There was also a summer cafe selling delicious treats like hot corn and barbecue.

Access to the water is a plus, as fences and concrete are the norm in Sochi. Unfortunately, it's not possible to take a stroll along the shoreline due to the presence of unsightly concrete structures and railway tracks. On the plus side, the garbage is regularly removed. If you're looking for a place to walk along the water, head to Terenkur.

This beach is part of a series of sanatorium beaches stretching from the stadium to Matsesta. Until recently, it was a wild beach with no changing rooms, toilets, umbrellas, deck chairs, or food stands. Now, however, it has all the amenities one could need, making it a quiet and cozy place to spend the day.

This beach is usually less crowded than other beaches, with small pebbles beneath your feet instead of large stones. The slope is gentle, and the prices for beer and ice cream are more affordable than other beaches in the area, making it a great spot to relax with the kids.
