The majority of the beaches in Phu Quoc may not be as pristine as some would expect, but this is simply the reality of the area. With time, it is likely that the beaches will be restored to their natural beauty, but for the present moment, visitors should anticipate a less than immaculate shoreline. However, this did not deter us from taking a refreshing dip in the ocean after our journey from the opposite end of the island. The scenery was breathtaking and definitely worth admiring. For those who crave refreshments or sustenance, there is a restaurant in close proximity where one can indulge in a cold beer or a satisfying meal. Overall, if you're in the area, it's worth taking a peek.

Arriving here and spotting a rainbow was a stroke of good fortune. The view of the Cambodian isles from this vantage point is stunning. The tranquility of the surroundings is a breath of fresh air, with a noticeable absence of crowds. I found this place to be absolutely delightful!

If you happen to be fortunate enough, you can purchase freshly caught fish from the nearby fishermen as soon as they dock. Additionally, you can appreciate the stunning view of the immaculate sea while sipping on a warm cup of coffee along the seaside promenade during this time of year.

A wonderful spot to relish the sunset with your significant other and indulge in some fishing too. The natives generally take a dip in the sea during the afternoon and from this spot, we can catch a glimpse of some of Cambodia's islands. The northern part of the island experiences strong winds from January to June, whereas the other side is windy from July to December. There are numerous hotels and small resorts dotted around the area. I strongly advise you to visit the nearby Nam Phuong Resorts and do try their steamed calamari and Bivina Beer.
