Hung Luong Beach

The service provided by the employees is satisfactory, I have no complaints in that regard. However, the facilities are in a poor condition and are not properly maintained, which is disappointing considering this is supposed to be a 5-star hotel. The elevators are not functioning properly and are located quite far from the reception area. During our company trip, we had expected to be accommodated near each other, but some of us were assigned to section 1 while others were placed in section 2. Due to the long hallway and distant elevators, it took us a considerable amount of time just to visit each other's rooms. The balcony doors are excessively heavy and some of them are stuck. Additionally, there is a lack of hair dryers and laundry bags in the rooms. The cleaning service is subpar, as some rooms were reported to have a lingering smell even after being cleaned. However, the rooms themselves are spacious, which is a redeeming factor. Furthermore, the hallway lamps are not illuminated during the nighttime. As for the buffet, the variety of food options is limited, but the desserts are quite enjoyable.

The accommodations and amenities at this resort, which is around 7 years old, were decent. The beachfront villas we stayed in were spacious and offered a beautiful view. However, the pool, which overlooked the beach, was slightly lower than the sand, making it difficult to fully see the ocean while swimming. Unfortunately, the bathroom and toilets were deteriorating due to a lack of proper maintenance. We encountered issues such as clogged toilets and mold in a couple of the showers. The most disappointing aspect of our stay was the food. The set menu we ordered for dinner was too expensive (550,000 VND per person) considering the quality. The combination of dishes didn't make sense in terms of their ethnic or fusion elements. As a result, we have no intention of returning to this place.

The service at this beach is not up to par, the rooms are only average, and there are many families with children. The pool has a dirty bottom, and the facilities are in a state of disrepair. Additionally, there are only a few small elevators that are often under maintenance. Furthermore, the beach is quite far from the city. The breakfast buffet is extremely crowded in the morning and lacks variety. I would not recommend this hotel for couples.

I tried to overlook many flaws so that they wouldn't ruin my vacation. However, there are several things that need to be addressed. It's important to remember that it was a peak holiday period, so everything should have been in proper working order. The Hotel Luxury is quite old and its age is very apparent. The room had a noticeable smell and the windows were heavy, making it difficult for my wife to open one on her own. The fan was also not functioning properly and the air conditioning made strange noises. Not all of the facilities were available, as only a few restaurants, the lobby, and the bar were open. All of the information provided was outdated, requiring constant phone calls for updated information. Even the front desk did not have accurate information. On our first night, we had a dinner included, but it was a set rice meal with no options to choose from. They simply brought whatever was available. The buffet lunches on the second and third day were chaotic and the food options were disappointing. Communication was lacking in every aspect. There were outdoor movies, but no schedule was provided. The safety of the transportation needs to be questioned, as the safari experience was essentially just a small zoo. I rented a bicycle, but it broke halfway through my ride. The drinks and food were both overpriced. It's important to note that the beach is quite far from the city, so that should be taken into consideration. However, I must say that the staff was friendly and hardworking!
