This spot was really nice and clean, with pebbles and crystal clear water. Even though the car park was full, there were plenty of other places to park just off the road at the top. There was a minibus that could take you down and back for a small fee, or you could walk which took us 18 minutes at a slow pace. Coming back took us exactly 30 minutes, and we were carrying a small tent and beach stuff. We ate at the far side restaurant which was good. Best of all, the beach has public free entry, so you don't have to worry about paying for entry. Unfortunately, there are no public facilities such as showers or toilets, but all in all, it was a nice quiet day.

We had a lovely time at the remote, gorgeous beach on Saturday at 10am. There were plenty of parking spots still available, and we walked down (there is also a bus). The beach itself was stunning, and we rented beds and a parasol for 12 euros for the two of us. There were two bars available, we'd recommend the bigger one and avoid the one at the entrance. Plus, the beach had light, fine pebbles which added to the beauty of the setting.

This lovely beach situated between Nerja and Almunecar is definitely worth the long walk down from the parking. However, in the summer season, there's a small van that will take you and your beach gear down and back up for a mere €2. The water is crystal clear and the beach is lined with two great restaurants. Furthermore, the beach is a mix of light fine pebbles and sand, making it an ideal spot to walk on barefoot.

This secluded beach is a gem! During peak season, you can take the shuttle to get there, but if you're visiting outside of that time, you'll need to take a 30 minute hike down a gorgeous path between the cliffs. It's a bit of a climb, but it's totally worth it!

Cañuelo Playa is a great spot in a nature reserve - if you're looking for a beach that's quiet, clean and away from the hustle and bustle of the more commercial areas. Get there early to make the most of your day in paradise, but bear in mind you'll need to take a shuttle bus to get there as it's blocked off from traffic.
