During the months of July and August, the beach can get quite crowded. However, it is a typical Almuñécar beach with small stones and offers some great beach bars to grab a bite to eat.

The black sand beach may be small in size, but it is undoubtedly a stunning sight to behold. The unique color of the sand adds to the beauty of the beach, making it a must-visit destination. Despite its size, the beach offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and unwinding. Overall, it is a beautiful gem that should not be missed.

The beach area with restaurants nearby is not as popular as the next one, as it appears abandoned with unfinished building projects looming above it since the Spanish economic crisis in 2008. During the day, the area is desolate and the buildings remain empty, which can be a bit eerie. However, the proximity to The Devil's Tower makes the area unsafe after nightfall, as it is known to be occupied by Satan worshippers, especially on Halloween and full moon nights. It's best to avoid the entire area during these times.
