This beach is located at the end of the Abama straight and in the Erques ravine. Unfortunately, access has been restricted due to construction in the area. It is a small cove with "callaos" (rounded stones) and is a bit of a mess, with little depth and murky water. Swimming is not recommended due to the threat of tidal waves. There are no lifeguards or safety personnel present. This is one of the few coves left, untouched by man-made constructions. (Sadly, once the hotel they have in mind is built, this cove will be replaced with yellow sand brought in from elsewhere, like Abama).

The beach was hard to get to and not worth the effort since it was beneath a big banana tree. On the day we visited, the water had a cloudy, white appearance which seemed odd to me. I'm not sure if it's safe to swim in, it could be contaminated.

If you park your car near the banana trees, it's only a 10 minute walk away. very peaceful and secluded, but the tides can make it difficult to go swimming.

This stunning beach is situated in a spectacular Barranco. Its pebbled coast is a delight to experience, and it's easy to imagine this spot was once a cultivated location.
