Praia de Brona

This location is the perfect to unwind and relax. We visited at the end of July with our motorhome and, although it was busy, we had no trouble finding a parking spot right beside the playground. The view was incredible! There were plenty of families with young children and we found it enjoyable to watch them playing. At the northern end of the beach, there's a walkway that circles around and leads you back to the beach. Although it's a great spot for families, it may not be suitable for those with kids who are prone to running around, as the cliffs aren't very well protected.

Praia de Brona is a stunning stretch of sand, with plenty of parking and a large picnic area with a few nearby eateries. Lifeguards are on duty in certain areas of the beach, and there are three showers available for rinsing off. While it's great for observing the fish, swimming isn't the best due to the seaweed and rocky patches in the shallow water. The waves are gentle and small, making for a pleasant day at the beach.

This beach near Cerzon is a great spot for families to visit. You'll need a car to get there, but there's plenty of parking available right at the beach. The sand is perfect for building sand castles, and the Atlantic breeze can be quite blustery. If you plan on using a beach umbrella, you'll want to bring an anchor to keep it from blowing away. You won't hear many languages other than English, as this beach is mostly frequented by locals. There aren't many amenities around, so it's best to bring whatever you need with you. The water can be cool on warm days, and the beach slope makes for a gradual entry into the ocean. However, the sea creeps up the beach quickly, so be aware of where you build your sand castles. All in all, it's a great beach with a playground nearby.

The beach was quite busy when I visited. Later in the afternoon, it was quite developed with car parks, shops, cafes, picnic tables, and a hut with a lifeguard. There were plenty of families with children. It wasn't the most attractive beach, but it had plenty of amenities.

This place may be suitable for families, but don't expect much. It's quite small, so it's easy to keep an eye on the kids. The car park is just a short walk away, which is convenient. There's a small park and a bar, plus showers and a grass area with picnic benches, but that's about it.
