The beach is fantastic! The water is crystal clear and the sea is calm, resembling a swimming pool. The trail offers stunning landscapes to admire, including an abundance of banana trees. It's a moderate level trail that we completed in 1 hour and 40 minutes, starting from Ponta Aguda beach. It's definitely worth the effort!

I made my way across the Saco das Bananas and it was quite the trek with a lot of uphill climbing. It definitely requires some decent physical fitness to make it through. It was just my group that day, which made it even more special. The location itself is absolutely stunning, although I would recommend bringing some bug spray!
