The public beaches of Antalya and Fethiye, specifically Halk, offer unbeatable prices and services. To secure a prime spot by the water, it's recommended to arrive before 10am. While there is a free section, bringing your own chair and shade is necessary. Parking is available for 25TL in a large lot with shaded areas around the edges. For 75TL, two lounge chairs and an umbrella can be rented. The sand is black, fine, and tends to stick to everything, creating a bit of a mess. The beach is mostly shallow with many rocks. The water is calm in the morning but waves pick up around noon, although the risk is never high. Many local families can be seen enjoying the beach.
The adjacent restaurant is excellent, serving typical fast-grilled foods that look quite appetizing. Tea is only 3TL and served with a smile, while Turkish coffee is not as good and priced at 15TL. WC and changing facilities are available, as well as showers and hoses to rinse off the black mud. A lifeguard is on duty and appears to be attentive.
Inlice is approximately a 30-minute drive from the city, making it challenging to reach without a car.
