If you're looking for a destination that offers both historical and seaside attractions, Hatay-Iskenderun is a great choice. This charming city reminded me of my childhood days in Izmir, and I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The beach is stunning, though it's important not to have overly high expectations. We paid 50 TL for two sunbeds, and our meal of chicken curry, hamburger, and two cokes cost us 70 TL. For two sodas, a mixed bag, a children's ice cream, water, and tea, we paid 70 TL. The sea was calm until 2 PM, after which it became wavy, but we still managed to swim comfortably with our two-year-old daughter. Families with young children will love this spot. It's only a 14-minute drive from Iskenderun's city center, making it a convenient location. If you're considering a holiday or a quick seaside getaway, I highly recommend Iskenderun.
