During our cruise, we had the pleasure of visiting a serene beach that was almost deserted. It was effortless to locate a spot to relax under the shade and relish the stunning scenery of the beach and crystal-clear water. However, the only drawback was the lack of any nearby eateries or refreshment stands.

The crystal-clear waters of the beach are a sight to behold, with a stunning aqua blue color that is truly breathtaking. There are numerous picturesque beaches to explore, and if you have a snorkeling mask, you can stop and swim at any of them. While the island of Grand Turk is still recovering from the hurricane, it's worth noting that it is a poorer island, with debris and stray animals scattered throughout. However, Margaritaville, located just off the pier port, is a lovely place to shop and dine. We rented a golf cart for the day, but I would suggest a car or jeep instead, as the golf cart was too slow.

Our experience on Grand Turk was underwhelming. We decided to explore the island by renting a golf cart but unfortunately, there wasn't much to see or do. We covered the entire island and spent a mere few hours at a beach which was fairly decent. The water was stunning, as depicted in the picture, but the beach lacked any noteworthy amenities. If you plan on visiting this island, it's advisable to simply grab a beach chair and lounge in front of Margaritaville, which is the main attraction here.

The beach at Pillory is absolutely stunning! If you happen to be on a cruise, be sure to head over to the van/taxi area and pay the fee to visit this beautiful spot. The water is crystal clear and perfect for snorkeling. I was amazed by the variety of fish I saw while exploring the area. Additionally, unlike the seaweed near the cruise port, there is none to be found here.

As non-residents of the hotel, we stopped by the beach during our port day from the cruise ship. Each of us rented a beach chair for a reasonable $10. The beach was pleasantly uncrowded, allowing us to fully enjoy the stunning waters and soak up the warm sun. Our lunch at the beach was delightful and satisfying. The experience was so enjoyable that we are even considering returning to this beach on our next trip.
