Latest reviews on Grand Turk island's beaches

Pillory beach
10 Javen mn

The crystal-clear waters of the beach are a sight to behold, with a stunning aqua blue color that is truly breathtaking. There are numerous picturesque beaches to explore, and if you have a snorkeling mask, you can stop and swim at any of them. While the island of Grand Turk is still recovering from the hurricane, it's worth noting that it is a poorer island, with debris and stray animals scattered throughout. However, Margaritaville, located just off the pier port, is a lovely place to shop and dine. We rented a golf cart for the day, but I would suggest a car or jeep instead, as the golf cart was too slow.

This beach is a wonderful spot to unwind, bask in the sun, and give fishing a try after the sun sets.

Cockburn Town beach

The public beach offers a tranquil escape with ample privacy to soak in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. The clear waters are like crystals, inviting you to take a dip and rejuvenate your senses.

English Point beach
6 Larimia Delacroix

The beach is rather unremarkable, however, it is home to a multitude of adorable hermit crabs scurrying about. The rhythmic sound of the Pacific Ocean crashing onto the shore creates a serene atmosphere. Unfortunately, the beach is marred by a significant amount of litter, which is a disappointing sight.

Norman Saunders beach
10 Sarina Whitman

During our cruise stop, we ventured out from the port and stumbled upon this hidden gem of a beach. The location was perfect, offering breathtaking views and a peaceful atmosphere with no crowds. We couldn't resist taking countless photos of the stunning island scenery. The locals were friendly and welcoming. The downtown area was small and simple, more like a bus stop, so don't expect any fancy amenities or bustling crowds. The weather was fantastic, and the crystal-clear water felt like our own private swimming pool. We're already planning our next visit!
