The bay boasts undeniable beauty, however, it tends to get quite congested and the water can be murky at times. The surrounding bars, boats and clubs emit lively music which may not be suitable for those seeking a serene beach experience. All things considered, it may not be the optimal destination for a peaceful day at the beach.

For a full day of relaxation on the beach, a mere 1,000 Lekes will grant you access to two hammocks and a sun umbrella. Don't fret if you don't pay upfront at the bar upon arrival, as the staff will kindly seek payment later at your towel. In addition, there are men in small boats offering private trips for around 3,000 Lekes (exact price uncertain). This coastal haven is a true gem in May and late September/October, though one can only imagine the crowds during peak season between June and September.
