The vast expanse of the pebble beach stretches as far as the eye can see, inviting families to unwind and soak up the sun. A plethora of cafes and eateries line the opposite side of the road, offering a variety of culinary delights to satisfy your taste buds. At the end of the beach, in the old town, lies a treasure trove of free museums waiting to be explored. Two lifts take you to the top of the cliffs, where breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape await. This beach is the perfect destination for a relaxing and enriching family day out.

During our stay in Hastings, we indulged in the serene beach for two days. On the second day, we embarked on a journey to explore the Old Town and hopped on the charming funicular train to the hilltop castle ruins. The view from the quaint cafe was breathtaking and unforgettable. The Old Town, although small in size, boasts of at least one outstanding old pub. My wife was enamored by the charming small shops, some of which were selling unique artifacts crafted in local studios.
