Porthzennor Cove is breathtaking! When I was younger, my family moved from the US to the UK for three years and spent our summers in Cornwall, although we lived in West Hampstead, London during the rest of the year. We also explored other areas like Devon, Wales, The Cotswolds, Surrey Hills, and Northumberland, as well as visiting Ireland & Scotland and skiing in Scotland & Europe (Cairngorm & Nevis, France, Switzerland & Austria) during the winters. Cornwall held a special place in our hearts, and for three summers in a row (1984-1987), my parents rented a house just outside of Zennor with incredible views of the fields and ocean. Porthzennor Cove & Beach was within hiking distance, and even though the beach is rocky and requires a bit of a hike to get to, it's hidden and absolutely stunning. The hiking along the Southwest Coastal Path in this area is particularly magnificent, especially during summertime. Nearby towns like Penzance and St. Ives are also charming and great for shopping. Cornwall holds some of my fondest childhood memories, and as an American, I feel incredibly privileged to have experienced this beautiful and quaint corner of the UK. 😎✌️🇬🇧

The coastline is absolutely breathtaking, but it's surprising that even during the high season the beach is deserted.

The beach is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views. However, it's surprising that even during the high season, the beach remains deserted.
