This beach is a hidden gem located near YHA Manorbier, with a free car park that overlooks Caldey Island. The path to the West leads to steps down to the beach, which are quite steep and can be a challenge to climb back up. It's important to be aware of the quickly rising tide if you plan on exploring the area. The rocky pebbles on the beach offer a view of the chapel rock, which has a large rectangular shape. Keep in mind that this secluded spot has no toilets, shops, or ice-cream, and is not suitable for young children. When the tide is in, there isn't much of a beach left. The weather can also change quickly, so be prepared. It's a short 5-minute walk back to the car park from the steps. Nearby camping facilities and a youth hostel with a café are available. Please exercise caution while visiting this beautiful but challenging beach.
