The beach is incredibly clean with a parking lot conveniently located at the intersection. As you stroll down the beach, you'll find people offering rentals for beach equipment and supplies. During the peak hours of the day, after sunrise and before sunset, you'll be treated to the breathtaking sight of beautiful blue colors. The water, although clear, may appear brown due to its clarity. Since it's on the Gulf side, it lacks the typical sea smell found on the East Coast. The sand is incredibly fine, resembling powder. Inserting a pole into the ground for an umbrella feels as solid as concrete. At high tide, there are wall partitions in the water that become covered. Please note the sign picturing the restrictions: no glass, fires, BBQs, camping, etc. If you're interested, parasailing is available. Today, manatees were spotted, but it's important to remember that touching them is illegal. As you admire the beach, you may also catch sight of schools of fish swimming by, both large and small. Additionally, there is an outdoor shower located at the entrance.
