This stunning beach boasts the most pristine, velvety soft sand that will delight your senses as it tickles your toes. The crystal-clear ocean water is refreshing and pure, inviting you to take a dip and soak up the sun. It's no wonder this is our go-to beach in Florida, and we make sure to visit a few times each year. It's almost as if you'd have to travel to another corner of the world to find a beach as gorgeous as this one, but it's right here in Siesta Key. There's no need to alter a thing about this paradise.

The beach is vast and the water is stunning. If you prefer a spot near the water, it's advisable to arrive early, around 8-8:30 am. From 9:30-11 am, the beach becomes quite crowded, with 4-5 umbrellas deep. It's a beautiful natural spot, but the crowds can be overwhelming for some. If you're driving a camper or rental and want to avoid the crowds, there are other beaches that are equally beautiful but less crowded.

The sand at this beach is incredibly soft and powdery, making it a pleasure to walk on. The water is refreshing and clear, with small fish darting around. We didn't come across any crabs, jellyfish, or hermit crabs, but we did spot a manatee not too far from the shore. The main section of the beach is patrolled by lifeguards, but it can get quite crowded. We ventured further down the beach and found a peaceful spot with stunning scenery. Unfortunately, the clouds obscured much of the sunset, and we had trouble watching the sunrise due to a building blocking our view. The sand here is definitely softer than at Turtle Beach, although if you're looking for shells, we would recommend heading there instead. While we did find some shells at Siesta Key beach, we didn't come across many large ones. There are plenty of local shops and excellent restaurants in the area, so be sure to check them out. I have discovered a new favorite beach in the United States! It is a serene and laid-back destination that exudes tranquility. The beach is impeccably clean and ideal for families, yet it never felt overcrowded with children. The water was stunningly warm and crystal clear, and the sand was incredibly soft and velvety to the touch, unlike the grainy texture of most beaches. The waves were gentle and soothing, making for a peaceful experience overall. The beach offers free parking and a plethora of amenities, including charming shops and exciting activities. I had a delightful time and cannot wait to return. I highly recommend visiting this beach for a rejuvenating day by the water. It is truly worth the trip!

Linda and I embarked on a road trip from Longboat Key to Siesta Key Beach to experience the renowned white sand for ourselves. To our amazement, the sand was incredibly plush to tread on, and even on the hottest of days, our feet remained unscathed from the scorching sun rays. The beach had ample free parking, restrooms, and outdoor showers, making our visit all the more comfortable. The water was also splendid and refreshing, and we had a fantastic time. If we had the luxury of time, we would have undoubtedly extended our stay at the number one beach in the United States!
