This beach is fantastic, but what sets it apart from others is the fact that the sand is smooth and compact, almost like gold.

I must say, this beach is simply divine! It's not exactly a bustling metropolis, so you won't have to fight tooth and nail for a spot on the sand. Plus, the sand is nice and firm, so you won't feel like you're wading through quicksand. And don't even get me started on the lack of undertows or monstrous waves - it's like swimming in a serene, tranquil pool. I gave it four stars because, well, let's just say it's not exactly a five-star resort. There aren't any restrooms or lifeguards, so you'll have to take care of business elsewhere. And if you're lucky enough to find a parking spot in the nearby neighborhood, be sure to thank your lucky stars - there's no official parking lot to speak of. Oh, and did I mention the massive container ships that cruise by on a regular basis? It's like a mini Panama Canal right in front of your eyes. All in all, I absolutely can't wait to head back to this little slice of heaven. 😊

One of the most beloved beaches in the Charleston region! If you're willing to search for a spot, there's ample free parking on the side streets, and the routes leading to the beach are quite fascinating as well. Despite being busy on weekends, it's still possible to locate a peaceful spot in the sand and find parking.

I had the most amazing experience at this beach! It was a true paradise with serene and unpopulated sandy shores. During my swim, my companion and I had the incredible opportunity to witness the grace of dolphins and even swim alongside stingrays on two separate occasions. The memories we made were unforgettable! I am already planning my next visit to this stunning beach. It's worth noting that the beach has a strict no-alcohol and no-plastic policy, which only adds to the pristine and natural beauty of the area.
