This beach is nothing but a remote, sterile and family-centric location. The ocean is as dull and lifeless as a stagnant pond. The coastline is riddled with sharp rocks that will only serve as a nuisance. And don't even think about parking here without a day pass - you'll be in for a rude awakening. If you're looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this place might be suitable. But don't expect to be wowed by any means.

The beach presents a pleasant ambiance, albeit the presence of rocks and stones. It is advisable to wear appropriate footwear while strolling on the beach or taking a dip in the water.

The ambiance of this particular beach exudes a distinct sense of community, setting it apart from other beaches in the Montauk vicinity. Although the beach is adorned with rocks, it is typically less populated than its oceanfront counterparts, and the waves are more subdued as it is situated along the Long Island Sound.

The beach was a pleasant spot to visit, however, access is granted only to those who possess a permit. Regrettably, I was issued a parking citation of $150 after my visit. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you acquire the necessary permit prior to your arrival to avoid any such inconvenience.
