This beach is absolutely stunning, and it feels like your own private oasis due to the limited parking availability. Lobsterville has a designated parking area, and if you venture to the end of the beach, you'll find the West Basin lot with a few extra spots. I highly recommend visiting, but it's all up to chance whether you'll snag a spot or not, unless you arrive early.

The beach offers stunning views of the Vineyard Sound and Elizabeth Islands. The water is tranquil, and there is an abundance of shoreline to stroll along. It's an excellent spot for children and dogs to swim. However, parking is limited and fills up quickly, so it's advisable to arrive early if you're planning a summer beach day. If you intend to swim, it's recommended to bring water shoes as some areas have numerous rocks and shells. Additionally, biting flies can be a nuisance, particularly during July, so remember to bring bug repellent.

I spent some lazy days at the beach with my partner Jim. He spent his time napping under the umbrella while I enjoyed the water, which quickly gets deep and is perfect for swimming. The beach has no cliffs to climb and is perfect for quiet, lazy days in the sun with the sound of birdsong, salt tang, and gulls crying. The sunsets are breathtaking, and there are no crowds or smoking allowed. The beach is easily accessible, especially for those who rely on assistive walkers. After a day of sun, sand, and napping, we took a short drive to Larsen's.
