The People That work there Are uptight. Would recommend most other beaches on the north shore. No glass bottles or they will follow your car around and harass you. It’s nuts. Go anywhere else

It was a beautiful winter day at the beach with golden sand. However, there were a few dogs running loose on the beach, despite the signs clearly stating that no dogs are allowed at any time of the year. I saw tracks from many larger dogs as well.

This beach is simply amazing, even during the late afternoon hours! The added convenience of Ellie's pizza and Prides Deli delivering right to your towel is a game-changer. While there may be some stinky black mud and seaweed present, the lengthy stretch of shoreline makes for a great workout stroll. It's worth noting that the food store unfortunately closes quite early at 5 pm, and the life guards are only on duty until then as well. Additionally, trash cans are not available after 5 pm. However, there are clean and accessible bathrooms available until closing time at 9 pm. For those seeking some shade, the Veranda area is the perfect spot to relax and cool off.

The beach is a lovely spot 🏖️, exclusively available to residents during the summer months. To gain access, you must present a valid ID. It's a delightful place to stroll from October to May. However, there is one aspect that I find bothersome - a conspicuous sign that clearly states NO dogs are permitted on the beach throughout the year. Despite this rule, some individuals disregard it and allow their furry companions to frolic around. I had a pet dog jump on me from behind once, and it was a terrifying experience!
