This beach is a great option for those who want to be close to their car, especially during off-peak hours when parking is easily available. Parents with young children may find this particularly convenient. There is a small restaurant across the street, which can be helpful. However, the parking machines were extremely slow this year, taking around ten minutes to process most credit card transactions. Hopefully, they will resolve this issue before the upcoming season. The view is quite beautiful, although there are even more stunning views in other places, this beach wins in terms of practicality and convenience.

I've been coming to this beach since I was a child. The parking situation is a bit limited, and you have to pay at the meter. You can use coins, cash, or card, but pennies are not accepted. It's best to arrive early to secure a spot. Despite the high tide, people were still setting up, going into the water, surfing, and having a great time. I took the opportunity to relax and enjoy reading my newspaper. The beach is well-maintained thanks to a diligent cleanup crew. I only spotted ducks and crows, no seagulls. It's advisable to bring bug repellent as there were small flying insects swarming around the seaweed. Restrooms are available, and I highly recommend a visit. Just a heads up, if you visit on a Sunday morning in June 2021, make sure to display your parking slip correctly and remove any expired slips from your dashboard, or else you might receive a ticket. Interestingly, I finally spotted a seagull at this beach.

The beach is an excellent spot to witness the sunrise. You'll have an incredible, unobstructed view right from the front row. I suggest arriving approximately an hour prior to the official sunrise time to fully experience the entire process. It's truly breathtaking and definitely worth waking up early for!

The beach is lovely during low tide. We visited in late October, so there weren't many people around. I really enjoyed the picturesque views of the houses, the coastline, and the Isle of Shoals.

The ice cream at the beach was decent, not terrible but not outstanding either. It tends to melt quite quickly! I would suggest trying out Goldenrod in Manchester, NH.
