Silver Strand beach

The beach is an amazing destination with ample parking space. The sight of the sand ripples with muscles is simply mesmerizing. The admission fee is quite reasonable and the beach is sprawling, offering ample space for everyone. However, we did witness someone being stung by a stingray while we were there. The beach management has put up numerous signs warning visitors about the presence of stingrays, so it's important to exercise caution.

As a California resident for four years, I finally made my way to the beach for the first time. The long trip was well worth it as I was greeted with a breathtaking sight. Despite the parking fee of $12-$15, the beach was worth every penny. The pristine and picturesque scenery was a sight to behold, especially during the sunset. I highly recommend visiting this beach and I am already looking forward to my next visit.

I had the pleasure of spending four days at this stunning beach in early September. It was truly the most breathtaking destination I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The staff was exceptionally well-coordinated and efficient in their efforts to maintain the pristine condition of the beach. I am eagerly looking forward to returning to this paradise once again.

For the past 5 or 6 years, we have been frequenting Silver Strand State Beach during our annual summer trips to California from Arizona. The main reason for our visits is due to my children's love for surfing and boogie boarding. The beach itself is incredibly well-maintained and pristine. The waves are perfect for both surfing and boogie boarding, and there is ample parking, showers, restrooms, and a few picnic tables available. Despite its popularity, the beach never feels overcrowded and lifeguards are always present for safety. However, it's important to be mindful of the stingrays in the area. During our most recent visit in July, there was a notable increase in the number of stingrays present. Unfortunately, my oldest son was stung by one, but the lifeguard was extremely helpful and directed us to the main tower for a foot soak. We noticed that there were several others who had also been stung and were soaking their feet at the same time. It's unclear whether this was just an unlucky occurrence or if the stingrays were more prevalent during this particular visit.

The RV park's location is truly remarkable and deserves a perfect score of 10 stars. As we parked our vehicle, we were immediately captivated by the magnificent sight of the waves crashing onto the sandy beach. Access to the beach was a breeze from any spot within the RV park, and the clear pictures provided during the reservation process made choosing a spot a breeze. The only downside was the lack of better bathroom facilities. Although we had a bathroom in our van, we found ourselves having to make a long trek to the public changing rooms designed for surfers and other visitors to the area. Nevertheless, we would still give this RV park a 10/10 rating and would jump at the chance to visit again. We highly recommend taking a leisurely stroll along the beach at night to witness the breathtaking sight of the city lights illuminating the shoreline.
