Visiting 1000 Steps Beach is always a delightful experience, and the physical exertion required to ascend the steps is quite intense. Although the name is a bit misleading, the climb feels like a thousand steps. It's advisable not to carry any heavy objects down to the beach since you will have to carry them back up. We visited the beach during sunset, and the view was breathtakingly beautiful. Moreover, the water was pleasantly warm, which was an added bonus.

The beach provides a great leg workout and offers beautiful views with a private feel. However, parking on the street is inconvenient and the entrance is now gated, which was not the case during previous visits. Despite the minor inconveniences, the beach is still worth a visit, although it feels a bit crowded now compared to years ago. The beach is not actually 1k steps, but it certainly feels like it, so come prepared. If you have trouble climbing stairs or have larger feet, be aware that the stairs are narrow and bringing large items may make the climb back up difficult.

After finally mustering up the courage to do so, I can confidently say that the challenge was well worth it! The beach is absolutely stunning and boasts an incredible cave that can only be explored during low tide. The cave can be found on the left-hand side of the beach's southern end. The descent down to the cave was quite easy, but climbing back up definitely revealed my lack of physical fitness. However, it wasn't as tough as I had anticipated. All in all, I highly recommend this beach as a must-visit destination.

Ah, the humble beach - small but mighty! Don't expect to find a fancy parking lot here, folks - it's street parking only. And while it may not be a thousand steps to get there, the climb is still a bit of a doozy. Pro tip: if you're hoping to explore the cave, don't dilly-dally - it closes up shop early. I learned that the hard way when I arrived at 6pm and found it shut tight. But fear not, dear beach-goers - you'll still be treated to a stunning sunset. Just be sure to leave your furry friends at home, as pets aren't allowed. And for those of you who need to answer nature's call, fear not - there's a public restroom down yonder.

This beach is pretty cool and a great spot to catch some sun. There's a lifeguard on duty and plenty of parking options. You can park for free off the main road, either to the north or south of the steps. If you want extra security, there's a lot further north. Just be aware that there are a lot of steps - around 200 of them - to get down to the beach. Once you're there, though, there's a cool tunnel to explore south of the steps, but only at low tide.
