Huntington Dog Beach

This was our first time here bringing our dog. If you come on the weekend, please be patient while looking for parking, as there are parking meters along the main street. Alternatively, you can wait and park in the parking lot, which has a limited number of spaces. They have a nice section of the beach where you can have your dog with you. However, be prepared to walk down a trail to reach the beach, so make sure to bring all your belongings with you. There are many dogs around. Additionally, they have trash cans placed throughout the area and provide extra doggy bags. The restrooms may not be the best, but overall, my dog really enjoyed it.

I absolutely adore this dog beach! It's impeccably maintained and the people and dogs here are incredibly friendly. We've never encountered any problems during our visits. Additionally, there's ample parking available and a convenient pathway leading to the beach. The only minor suggestion I have is to have a shower facility for rinsing off my furry companion.

The beach is fantastic, and it even has a designated area for dogs. My furry friend had an amazing experience exploring the sand for the first time. Moreover, the beach is well-maintained and kept very clean. As for parking, it is available on the street and requires payment at the meter, but there is no time restriction. Alternatively, you can opt to park in the nearby neighborhoods and take a short walk if you prefer.

This is a fairly good dog beach with ample room for dogs to freely wander. It offers a lifeguard station and public restroom facilities. However, the water appears quite polluted with peculiar yellow foam washing ashore. Moreover, the people at this beach are not as welcoming as those at Rosie's dog beach, and they seem somewhat reluctant to allow dogs to socialize.

I absolutely adore this beach! And you know what's even better? My dog loves it too! There are plenty of trash cans available, and people here are extremely considerate when it comes to cleaning up after themselves and disposing of waste. I've been coming to this beach for years, and I've never had anyone touch or steal my belongings, even when I've left them unattended for hours while taking a walk. If you're driving, there are two parking lots you can access from Pacific Coast Highway, heading south after Seacliff. The parking meters accept both coins and cards, but be aware that prices have gone up to $2.25 per hour. As dog owners, let's be respectful and make the most of our furry friends' day at the beach! Each entrance ramp has a restroom located at the top, although I personally haven't used them before. Oh, and don't forget to bring some water for your dog to drink!
