I absolutely adored this beach! Our visit was on a Saturday in early November, around midday, and we were pleasantly surprised to find it relatively empty. The stunning ocean horizon and the picturesque landscape of huge old trees washed up on the shore made for a breathtaking sight. The beach itself is incredibly long, perfect for a leisurely stroll, and if you're feeling lazy, you can even take in the view from the comfort of your car in the parking lot. Although the town nearby is small and unremarkable, the beach is definitely worth the trip. In fact, it's so stunning that we decided to explore the second and third beaches down the road, which required a bit more effort to get to, but were equally as beautiful.

This shoreline boasts the largest driftwood you'll likely lay eyes on. Be sure not to overlook the petite tidepools located towards the southern extremity. During our trip, we were fortunate enough to observe a plethora of sea creatures, including anemones, whelks, limpets, chitons, shrimp, mussels, and a massive 12-inch starfish. The walk is effortless, and the sunsets are breathtaking. A visit to this beach is an absolute must.

The coastal stretches in this region are unlike any other found on the East Coast. The beaches are adorned with massive logs, and the forests extend right up to the shore, creating a stunning contrast of textures and colors. The rocky shores and gray sand are a sight to behold, and the large boulders in the surf add to the overall breathtaking scenery. It's as if you've stepped into a prehistoric era, making this beach experience truly unique and unparalleled.

What a stunning locale! We were absolutely thrilled to clamber over the scattered driftwood and timber. We found ourselves sitting in awe, listening to the calming waves and observing the wide variety of avian species. Although we only stayed for a short while, we discovered that there are ample opportunities for camping and renting beachfront accommodations, including cozy cabins. Additionally, there's a convenient camp store where you can find all the essentials for your stay.
