The beach is pleasant, but the amount of shore pound can vary depending on the swell. If you're looking to surf, the beach located north of this one, on the opposite side of the rock and tide pools, is a better option as it offers both a left and a right.

This beach is great for watching sunsets, but it's important to be careful if you plan on swimming. As with most places on Molokai, it's not very crowded, making it a perfect spot to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Our condo rental was conveniently located near Kepuhi Beach, allowing us to easily catch the sunset or check out the waves when they were high. However, it's important to note that this beach is not suitable for swimming as the winter waves can be dangerous. On the southern end of the beach, there's a rocky hill that offers a stunning view of the entire beach. The rock formation at the end of the beach is impressive, as it withstands the powerful waves that can reach up to 20-30 feet high. During our stay, we were lucky enough to witness green flashes during two sunsets, which was a unique and exciting experience.
