What's not to like about Lake Tahoe, regardless of which section of shoreline you're on or the season you're on it? 10 miles wide and 20 miles long, over 1,600 feet deep. Clear water, surrounded by mountains. It's beautiful. The weather can change quickly year round. Seeing the clouds bring lightning across the lake in summer, or snow clouds completely block out view of the opposite shore in winter, is an added bonus if you're fortunate enough to be there when it happens.

A little place to relax. Small beach area. And few spots for grilling. Don’t forget that you could have a barbecue using JUST a gas grill. All over the Tahoe area.

The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is that there not a lot of shore line so if it gets busy good luck finding a spot to sit. Otherwise it’s amazing and very picturesque with the boulder that you can swim out to can climb on (beware the rocks are sharp, cut my foot one one). There are decent public restrooms to change and close to the beach too

This beach is rather small and very rocky which is rather ironic after all it’s “sandy” beach but then again once you get in the water it’s super sandy and you and walk out forever before it gets deep
