Love it! It's summer so parking was packed and beach was crowded. We are a family of 4 with 2 toddlers and a dog so paying $10 for parking was absolutely worth it. Water and beach was beautiful with cool mountainous backdrop. Will definitely love to come back here.

Beautiful beach, bigger compared to others. Serene views of the mountains. Got there in the afternoon and still managed to get a spot on the water by the shrubs.

The views are amazing. The beach was nice and clean. I like that I was able to find parking and that there were a lot of benches and picnic tables to choose from. I was visiting from out of town and didn't have my own beach chairs. There is a $10 parking fee which I didn't mind at all. I didn't see a playground for kids which would've been nice. The water was freezing cold but that wasn't an issue either because it was a 95 degree day. The sand is a little rocky so beach shoes are recommended. It didn't get 5 stars because it was pretty crowded but I guess that's expected from a public beach. I would return because it's well taken care of and the views are amazing.

This whole region is beautiful. Now to decide if I love it more in the winter or the summer. Such a hard decision. It's busy during the summer months. Be prepared for traffic, beach traffic and restaurant traffic. But it's so worth it!

4 Frustrating

There is no sign on the beach that said not to sit around this premise by these benches. We already sat and settled and had to move further when the park lady in vest said “there’s a private party and you have to move further down”, would be nice if there’s a sign so the public knows. Not to be Karen but here’s the proof lol
