This stunning beach boasts tranquility and natural beauty, attracting mostly tourists staying at the Limetree resort rather than locals. Despite being a free public beach, access is through a gated entrance, with only one way onto the beach. During the pandemic, the beach closes at 4pm. While we were not guests of the resort, we enjoyed several days at the beach while staying in the area.
Compared to other St Thomas beaches, the waves here are slightly stronger. The ocean floor is teeming with coral, which can be disconcerting and make entering the water nerve-wracking. Be cautious of the jutting rocks beneath the surface, as they can cause injury. The lush vegetation and rocky cliffs at either end of the beach are breathtakingly beautiful.
It's important to note that there are no amenities besides those at the resort, so visitors should bring their own food and water if planning to stay for an extended period. Using the resort's services without being a guest is prohibited. Despite this, we highly recommend visiting this beach for its stunning natural scenery and peaceful atmosphere.
