This beach, as of Summer 2018, is unfortunately in a state of disrepair. There is an abundance of coral and debris from buildings scattered throughout the area, including dangerous rusty nails, glass shards, and sharp objects. While the surrounding vegetation is slowly regaining its former lushness, the coral has suffered extensive damage. Large pieces of it can be found strewn across the sand, causing powerful waves to crash and erode the beach. It is a true tragedy to see this paradise lost, and it will take a considerable amount of time for it to recover.
