Oh, Santiago de Cuba's beach, where do we even start? Let's just say it's not exactly the cream of the crop, but it's not a complete disaster either. If only someone would give it a little love and attention, it could be a real contender for top attraction status. Despite its lackluster appearance, there are a few things going for it. The Caribbean sea is warm as can be, and the beach is conveniently close to the city. Plus, there's always a lively crowd of locals and tourists buzzing about. So, if you're looking for a beach that's not too shabby and has some potential, Santiago de Cuba's beach might just fit the bill.

I enjoyed the picturesque scenery of the beach, particularly its golden sand which added to its beauty.

Playa La Estrella

Nestled near El Morro Castle, this small stretch of sandy beach offers a unique charm accessible by a narrow, winding trail. While the water may be slightly murky due to the occasional presence of algae, it is delightfully warm and inviting. A popular spot among locals, this beach is a summer hotspot due to its close proximity to the city and easy accessibility via public transportation. Don't miss out on the opportunity to experience this hidden gem for yourself.

Nestled away from the bustling city of Santiago lies a picturesque beach that is simply breathtaking. The piña coladas served here are unparalleled and come at an incredibly affordable price. The fried plantains are also a must-try, but it's important to be mindful of the prices of other items being sold. One of the major advantages of this beach is that it remains untouched by tourist buses, ensuring that there are not too many people around. Overall, this is a truly stunning spot that is definitely worth a visit.

This beach is an absolute disaster. The flora is deceased and the entire area is desolate and lifeless. If you do manage to make it to the water, be prepared for a treacherous journey over jagged rocks. I wouldn't recommend this beach to my worst enemy.
