Santa Clara - all beaches

This beach near Trinidad is absolutely stunning! It's not overrun with tourists like Playa Ancon and the water is a peaceful turquoise color. Plus, there's a great spot for snorkeling. I could have easily spent an entire day here.

I visited the beach during the winter season and although the water was not too warm, it was still enjoyable if you kept yourself active. Additionally, the beach has beautiful golden sand which added to the overall experience.

I can vividly recall the exorbitant amount we shelled out for the taxi ride to this so-called beach. But hey, at least we got to witness the spectacle of the sun, sea, and sand, right? The beach was bustling with activity, from beach volleyball to sunbathing to simply lounging around with a good book. Overall, it was a decent escape from the daily grind, even if it did cost us an arm and a leg to get there.
