This is the Greek taverna you must visit. The setting is beautiful, the staff were charming, and Kris was very welcoming. One of our group members mistakenly thought the 130 euro lobster tagliatelle was only 13 euros. We ended up covering the cost—ouch! Nonetheless, it was a magical experience and makes for a great story. Plus, there's access to the harbour.
The beach that draws the most visitors and is conveniently located on the island is a mere 900 meters away from Kalamos port. The water is so clear that you can see right through it, and the beach is covered in smooth pebbles. The scenery is breathtaking, and an old windmill serves as a distinguishing feature of the beach.
This stunning beach has pristine, transparent waters and is surrounded by lush greenery. It can be reached via a dirt road or a leisurely 20-minute stroll from the island's port. Despite its natural beauty, there are no commercial establishments to detract from the tranquil atmosphere.
This beach was absolutely breathtaking - one of the most stunning I have ever laid eyes on. The water had a beautiful azure hue, and the combination of rocky shores, sandy stretches, and shaded areas made it even more appealing. We had the incredible experience of exploring the area on a stand-up paddleboard, and it was truly unforgettable.
