The seaside is a fantastic escape for enjoyment and unwinding. When the tides are low, it tends to be significantly wider and easily reachable, but when the tides are high, the water reaches the edges of nearby resorts. Numerous resorts are situated right next to the shoreline, each with their own private beach areas. Various entertaining activities take place on the beach.
I make it a point to attend the Kyokushin Training Summer Camp every year during the first week of June. This year, we held it in Old Digha and had a wonderful time there.
With the evolution of the coastal road (Saikat Sundari) and multiple hotels, this location has been attracting more visitors in recent times. In the past, there were only a couple of resorts, but now there are at least 10. The shoreline remains unspoiled, and the trees provide ample shade. Additionally, it is known for being one of the most swimmer-friendly beaches. The surrounding area has also been effectively developed to combat any potential beach erosion.
