This stunning beach has captured my heart since my backpacking days in 1998. While the once rustic beachfront has now transformed into modern concrete restaurants, the crystal-clear water remains as breathtaking as ever. Although it may require a bit of a trek to reach, locals may try to steer you towards the blue lagoon instead. However, trust me when I say that this is the spot you won't want to miss. Just be cautious of the current if you're traveling with little ones.

This beach is an absolute gem. The entry fee is a mere 10k, but the facilities are top-notch. The area is immaculately clean, and the toilets are well-maintained, with fresh water and fully functioning bidets. You can choose to relax on the lush green field or have a delightful picnic here. Trash bins are conveniently located, making it easy to keep the area tidy. For a small fee of 100k, you can rent two comfortable day beds complete with refreshing coconuts. The sand is incredibly soft, and the water is so crystal clear that you can see all the way to the bottom. The locals and street vendors are warm and welcoming, making it a truly enjoyable experience.

The beach at Candi resort is an ideal location for those seeking a pristine and well-maintained coastal retreat. With daily cleaning services, guests can enjoy the natural beauty of the shoreline without the worry of litter or debris. This spot is truly a haven for beach lovers.

Virgin Beach, or Pasir Putih, is a great spot to relax and clear your mind.

We had an incredible time snorkeling at the beach, where we were treated to a stunning display of vibrant coral reefs and an array of colorful fish. To top it off, we were lucky enough to spot a graceful turtle swimming gracefully among the marine life. The snorkeling company was flexible with their pricing, which made the experience even more enjoyable. For just $80 CAD, my companion and I were able to charter a private boat and visit two different snorkeling spots, where we had the freedom to explore for over an hour at each location.

We were fortunate enough to stumble upon this quaint bungalow nestled by the beach, and it proved to be a hidden gem.
