This minuscule hamlet perched above the mesmerizing Strait of Messina clings to its spot like a feline stretching out its limbs. The vista of the surrounding islands and Punta Faro (Messina) is undoubtedly picturesque, but one can't help but feel a sense of predictability in such a setting. Nonetheless, the scenery is undeniably evocative.

We took a boat trip to the stunning Purple Coast with the help of the Pink Tour Calabria company. The prices were reasonable and we had a great time. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The tour also included two stops at beautiful beaches that can only be accessed by boat, with crystal clear waters. We give it five stars!
