This could be a lovely beach if it was cleaned, there's rubbish and cigarette butts and broken glass everywhere. Not safe for children to play on because of the broken glass. Also big issues with the guy who takes the money for the beach chairs, today he constantly kicked football with his friends, around the people that had paid him to lie on the sunbeds. Twice, the football struck people lying on the beach and he had his friends were aggressive when asked to stop or to move somewhere else. Avoid, there are nicer beaches in the area!!
The beach was quite pleasant, especially considering that it was completely free of charge. I was fortunate enough to find street parking for my car. The beach wasn't overly crowded, since we stayed in the northern section, and it was only a 5-minute walk to the bar. We managed to find a spot on a Sunday afternoon. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Solerno and in need of some refreshment.
The Lido is well-kept and tidy, with options to relax on the beach or the quay. The bar offers a diverse selection of food and drink, including breakfast and lunch sandwiches. The beach and sea are both clean and well-maintained. The atmosphere is peaceful and attracts a more reserved crowd, avoiding the usual chaos found on nearby shores. The pricing is reasonable for the quality of the location. Overall, highly recommended.
