Rebak Resort Beach

Truly one of the best resorts ever. Top-class hospitality and courteous staff. The standout feature of the resort is the red rock beach, accessible via a fun, medium-level difficulty, 2 KM trek through dense foliage from the reception. The view is absolutely breathtaking once you reach the beach. Even if you skip the trek, there is no shortage of activities (kayaking, ATV, sea swimming, nature walk, yacht rentals). You can kayak around the nearby island and even take a break at the beach there. Where the resort can improve is by offering more food options for vegetarians and removing plastic waste from the beaches more frequently. Nonetheless, Malaysian hospitality is truly remarkable, and the people at Rebak made our stay memorable.

We explored this renowned Langkawi beach on a peaceful weekday, where the crowd was scarce. The vicinity is dotted with numerous dining options, catering to all tastes. For thrill-seekers, the beach offers exhilarating water sports like jet skiing and parasailing. The beach is accessible to everyone and appeared immaculate. We were pleased to discover abundant parking space, making our visit hassle-free.

We had made reservations at The Beach Grill along with our stay. The service provided by the counter staff was excellent; she effectively communicated the details of our booking, allowing us to enter the establishment promptly without any delay. However, the service inside the restaurant was extremely slow. The staff appeared to be lacking proper training, as our waiter neglected to inquire whether we had finished our drinks before clearing them away, assuming we were done. Furthermore, the Braised Lamb Shank was unfortunately overcooked, and the steak was of low quality, appearing grey in color. Additionally, insect bites and flies frequently interrupted our meal, which was quite bothersome. Despite the manager being aware of the situation, no action was taken to address these issues. Lastly, the wait for the return buggy was quite lengthy, lasting approximately 30 minutes.

The beach is definitely peaceful as there weren't too many people around. It's definitely an improvement from Cenang. The waves are quite strong, making it a good spot for swimming and experiencing the thrill of being massaged by them. However, the beach has a slight incline which can make walking a bit challenging. The sand is also a bit rough. There aren't any vendors selling goods along the beach. On the bright side, there are plenty of water sports activities available such as parasailing, banana boat rides, and jet skiing.
