It's great to have the opportunity to admire the vast expanse of the sea. Although I appreciate the availability of tickets, what I truly enjoyed was the pristine environment. The breezy conditions were favorable, and I found the weather to be just right for a delightful excursion.
Surfside beach, situated just an hour's drive away from Houston, is a delightful haven for those seeking a beach escapade or a chance to indulge in fishing or surfing. The beach is immaculate, and the authorities ensure that it is well-maintained with an abundance of trash cans and portable toilets. During summers, it becomes a hub of activity, teeming with visitors who relish basking in the sun on its coarse, ivory sand. Furthermore, the beach is a birdwatcher's paradise, particularly during the Spring and Fall seasons, when birds migrate. Witnessing the birds in their natural habitat is an awe-inspiring experience. In conclusion, I have always relished visiting Surfside beach, regardless of the season. It is a perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind and immerse themselves in nature's beauty.
The beach is peaceful and relaxing, and there aren't too many people around. It's perfect for fishing enthusiasts, and families will also love spending time here. You can drive onto the beach, but be careful not to get stuck as it can be expensive to get pulled out. The only thing that could make it better is if there were trash cans to prevent littering. Overall, it's a fantastic place for the whole family to enjoy playing or fishing.
Visit this spot if you prefer a less crowded beach experience. While there are no lifeguards stationed here, they do patrol the area regularly. We visited in the afternoon, but I STRONGLY suggest arriving before sunset to witness the breathtaking sky. Although we didn't encounter any snakes, there are warning signs about their presence. Parking is very convenient, though the lot is gravel rather than cement. All in all, it's a wonderful place to enjoy the beach!
The beach is pleasant and usually not too crowded. I didn't come across any restrooms, but I might have missed them.
