Latest reviews on Digue island's beaches

Grand Anse Beach
10 Liora Eshkol

Grand Anse Beach on Fregate Island is a secluded paradise that can be easily reached by a short propeller plane ride from Mahé. The island is home to giant tortoises, which adds to its unique charm. The beach itself is adorned with large rocks that are scattered across the sandy shore, making it a picturesque location for nature lovers. Additionally, the best part about this beach is that it's open to the public and free to enter.

Anse Source d'Argent Beach
10 Nikoloz Gogoladze

This beach is definitely worth a visit, but it's best to plan your trip for the morning when it's less crowded. Keep in mind that there is an entrance fee of around 100 rupees to get through the park gates.

Anse Marron Beach
10 Kian Arloft.

This beautiful secluded beach can only be accessed by hiking, adding to its allure. The water is home to a stunning natural swimming pool that is sure to leave you in awe.

Petite Anse Beach

This idyllic coastal destination is truly remarkable. A short and leisurely stroll of just 15 minutes will transport you to a veritable paradise. The best part? You don't even need to don cumbersome walking shoes, as we effortlessly made our way there wearing nothing but flip flops.

Anse Source d'Argent Beach II
10 Armand Delacroix

This beach is an absolute marvel, perhaps one of the most breathtaking places I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. The crystal-clear waters boast shallow areas teeming with an array of colorful fish, making it an ideal spot for snorkeling enthusiasts. Moreover, the beach bars dotted along the shore offer an exceptional selection of refreshing beverages, accompanied by complimentary servings of tropical fruits such as coconut and papaya. A visit to this beach is an absolute must for anyone exploring the area. 🇸🇨

Anse Cocos Beach
10 Kian Arloft.

This beach is truly one of the most exceptional ones I have ever come across. Grand Anse and Petite Anse pale in comparison to the beauty and uniqueness of this hidden gem. A leisurely stroll through the forest and rocky terrain for about 35-40 minutes is all it takes to reach this paradise. The breathtaking views and majestic waves are simply awe-inspiring. But the real treasure lies at the far end of the beach - a natural pool with crystal-clear waters and no waves, perfect for snorkeling. If you find yourself on La Digue, this is definitely a must-visit destination that will leave you mesmerized.
