Platja de les Illetes II

If you're searching for a Caribbean-themed beach in Europe, you won't have to look any further. But, be sure to pack your own food and beverages, and consider renting a bike to make the trek from the ferry pier more manageable.

Platja de S'Alga

The beach was a real gem - the water was so clear you could practically see your own reflection! It was a bit of a trek to get there, but totally worth it in the end.

Platja de la Torreta

This place is an absolute paradise! The cove is secluded from the rough open sea and the waves are gentle. The water is crystal clear and teeming with marine life, including the Posidonia meadow. It's much quieter than other beaches on the island of Espalmador, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful day out.

Platja Es Cavallet - Es Cavallet Beach

It's quite the journey to get to this expansive beach and coastline in the south. Whether it's summertime and you're looking to enjoy the nude beaches or it's off-season and you want to take in the serene atmosphere of the deserted beaches and unique waves, you'll be sure to have a great time. Plus, the parking situation has been greatly improved in recent years, and the walk through nature to get to the beach is an experience in itself. And, the cherry on top? A rainbow over Dalt Villa in October!

Playa Den Bossa

There's nothing particularly noteworthy about this beach. It lacks amenities for individual swimmers and is located far away and inconveniently. The quality of the water varies depending on the day.

This beach may not be the best, but it's adequate for cruise liner visitors like us who just want to spend a few hours by the sea. The beach is long and narrow, lined with restaurants that offer sun lounge chairs for rent. Each establishment has different rates; we inquired at two places, and the prices were 40€ and 50€. We found that the further end of the beach is cleaner and free from pebbles and seaweed. While the water isn't crystal clear, it's clean enough for a refreshing swim under the hot sun. We noticed a hat and sunglasses vendor walking by, but they didn't bother us. Be aware that there are no shady spots on the beach, so it's advisable to bring your own sun umbrella. Additionally, parking costs 7€ per vehicle.
