Latest reviews on Sant Joan d'Alacant's beaches

Libre de el Altet

That place is an incredible place to visit! It's clean, the sand is a beautiful shade of brown, and there are plenty of people enjoying their time there. There's a giant parking lot close by, and a short walk to the beach. Plus, you get the added bonus of the airport nearby. It's very comfortable and you won't regret it. Super mega recommended! ♥️

Muchavista Beach

This place is a great spot for families with little ones! The sand is soft and grey, and there's plenty of room to spread out. You can get there easily by taking the Tram line 3 or bus line 21. The water is shallow and there are no strong currents, making it the ideal spot for a day at the beach. It's big enough to avoid overcrowding, so you can relax and enjoy the sun and sand.

Postiguet Beach

This location is incredibly popular and well-maintained due to the hard work of the staff that keep it clean. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes to choose from when you're feeling hungry or thirsty. Additionally, the police presence is a welcome sight as they work to combat drug dealers who prey on young holiday-goers. It's a unique sight to see in Spain, and it's a positive step towards protecting people from the dangers of drugs. We hope that other cities across Spain will follow Alicante's example and help to keep young people safe.

Albufereta Beach

The trek to this beach was worth it! It's stunning. You can even rent a sunbed and umbrella - how convenient! The water is crystal clear and the sand is like velvet beneath your feet - just watch out for those sneaky rocks in the sea bed. It's a must-see spot, and there's a cafe/restaurant to boot, so you can go from a quick coffee and snack to a full-on dinner. What more could you want?

Playa del Campello

Stunning. Be aware of the strong waves when it's windy. It's ideal for surfing if you're feeling adventurous.

Cala de la Sangueta

Situated near the La Sangueta neighborhood on Villajoyosa Avenue, between the Mirador del Príncipe and the Regata Club - Sailing School, this small cove features a mix of sand and round stones, making water shoes advisable for bathing. While it may not be very tranquil in the summer, the open, clean waters and good views make up for it. Behind you, you'll find the Serra Grossa, and to your left, you'll see Albufera Beach and El Cabo de las Huertas. The cove is accessible by TRAM, bicycle, or on foot, but if you're driving, you'll need to park some distance away. There is only one restaurant nearby, located inside the Regata Club, and no other stores in the vicinity. Additionally, the cove lacks toilets, footbaths, and a security service.
