Thalaramba - all beaches

This is hands down one of the best beaches I have ever been to. The sand is pristine and the water is crystal clear, which is definitely the highlight of the experience.

This beach is the perfect spot for beginners to learn how to surf, with a long stretch of shoreline that offers decent waves. However, it can get pretty crowded, but there are plenty of surf schools around. If you're looking for a good instructor, I recommend Kavinda or Lion for novice surfers. On the downside, it's worth noting that the city's sewer system empties directly into the sea near the surfing areas.

This beach is a bit of a trek from the parking area, taking approximately 15 minutes to reach the shoreline. Additionally, the hotels in the area are quite expensive, so it's best to bring your own refreshments. However, the tranquility and peacefulness of the area make it well worth the effort. The water is crystal clear and inviting, making it hard to resist taking a dip. Don't miss out on this idyllic setting for a relaxing day at the beach.
